Funny how things go. I was trying (and failing) to find MyInvoicer. Got your name from an old copy of the BUGS file from it. Found MyInvoicer. Found this. Now am thinking I need to get my daughter an Android phone for use in the university library. Thanks!

Like everyone these days I’ve been trying to decide between the iPhone, a Blackberry, or a Droid as my next info appliance and this definitely shifts the balance. Sure the iPhone is a great plaything but AT&T’s network leaves a lot to be desired, Blackberry is a sure fire way to connect when you need to but boring and more for an iBanker than an infoBroker… Droid does however really seem to do it for “us” with this feature.

While there are certainly libraries that have been successful in implementing blogs or a presence on Facebook, the web is littered with inactive library blogs, lifeless virtual library community and Facebook pages that are out-of-date.

I need a scanner to catalog my personal library of books. I downloaded this app and it works ok, but doesn’t save off the book metadata (e.g. title, isbn ) for saving in a database. Am I missing something? Is there any app that does?
